Connect the Physical Phone to Zoom Desktop App - Call Control
This article will walk you through the process of enabling the physical phone to be controlled via the Zoom Desktop Client

The first step is to ensure that your Phone settings are enabled to allow Call Control from the web portal. Navigate to the web portal: https://gemaire.zoom.us/ and go to the phone tab

Once in the phone tab, scroll down to Desk Phone and "Allow Call Control from Client" **If the user doesn't have a phone assigned to them, this will not appear in the settings**

Once that it is enabled, the phone will do a quick reboot. Then you need to go to the settings within Zoom and go to the phone tab > Call Control and select "Manage"

You should then see the desk phone showing and then press "Connect" - The phone

**The phone has to complete its reboot before you can press connect"
Once you press Connect it will ask you to confirm on the physical phone. Just press "Yes"

If a user is using the Zoom desktop app and doesnt have a headset, you need to enable call Control Control so that it can leverage the physical phone. This is the error you will see
