How To Fix Unscanned Documents (RJI 7)
Unscanned Documents Fix (RJI 7)
If you are getting an error message (i.e. Error 20543), please close all applications and restart the computer, then restart the Fujitsu scanner. Try to scan the images again. Also make sure the cable going from the scanner is seated properly on both ends.
If you are not getting an error message, and the image bar codes are on the RIGHT-HAND side of the document, you will need to print the bar code and rescan the images using the instructions below:
Reprint The Barcode:
In Mincron, use Fast Path RJI option 20. Once the barcode document is printed you will need to rescan insuring that only the reprinted bar code page is placed to the left when scanning. All other pages with bar codes need to be placed to the right.
For Vendor Returns:
Reprint the VR barcode using RJI menu option 20, option 5. You will need to be careful to place a leading zero in front of the vendor return number to create a bar code acceptable to the system. This is also true with any barcode reprint that has a number with only six characters. The system is looking for a seven character number. Once the barcoded document is printed the user will need to rescan insuring that only the reprinted bar code page is placed to the left when scanning. All other pages with bar codes need to be placed to the right.
For Cash Recons:
Reprint the Cash Recon barcode using RJI menu option 20, option 4, and enter the Batch# / Branch# / Batch Date as shown below. There is no need to enter the leading ‘CR’. That will be appended based on the barcode type of 4 (Cash Recon).
ONCE SCANNED, VERIFY THE BAR CODE IS ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE.
